ILEP Activities
The following ILEP Members are supporting anti-leprosy activities in India:

AIFO
AIFO supports community based rehabilitation work in South Sulawesi.

ALES
Leprosy Relief is active in the areas of rehabilitation of leprosy patients and the diversification of the range of services offered by leprosy hospitals.

NLR
NLR has been active in Indonesia since 1967 and supports the National Programme in 22 provinces. In 2000 NLR established an office in the capital, Jakarta.
NLR supports the national trainings institute for leprosy in Makassar and the Leprosy Division of the Ministry of Public Health in Jakarta. NLR works together with the Yayasan Transformasi Lepra Indonesia (YTLI), a local non-gouvernemental organization (NGO) twhich provides socio-economic support to people affected by leprosy and their families.

SMHF
The Sasakawa Memorial Health Foundation (SMHF) provides support to local organisations in Indonesia.

TLMI
TLM works with the Indonesian government’s leprosy elimination programme across 4 provinces in South and West Kalimantan, Bali and Nusa Tengarra Timor (NTT).
In Nusa Tengarra Timor, TLM partners with the Catholic Sisters at the Naob Rehabilitation Centre in Kupang. This is a referral centre for leprosy treatment and rehabilitation for leprosy-related and other disabilities. In South Kalimantan, TLM works with other partners to support a Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) project. Protective footwear is provided for anaesthetic feet, referrals arranged for reconstructive surgery and self-care groups encouraged to meet. Micro-credit loans are provided to encourage small businesses to start up. TLMI also conducts training and awareness-raising activities.
