The Role of ILEP Member representatives

With regard to provision of information and feed-back:

  • Act as a contact to provide information, to the ILEP Secretariat or ILEP Member, on the area for which the representative is responsible.
  • Help with surveys from the ILEP Technical commission as necessary;
  • Supply information on drug provision and shortages as appropriate;
  • Give relevant feedback to the Secretariat on all publications and questionnaires sent to the field

With regard to dissemination of ILEP information:

  • Ensure that the latest ILEP standard questionnaires are available to the projects in the area for which the representative is responsible,  and  monitor their completion and return to the  co-ordinator within deadlines;
  • Ensure that the advice from the ILEP Technical Commission as contained in the Medical bulletins and the publications of the Commission is distributed to field personnel within the area for which the representative is responsible;
  • Ensure that any advocacy and promotional material from ILEP reaches the local/national authorities within the area for which the representative is responsible;
