Examples of Anti-Leprosy Work in the Republic of Yemen

After the Deutsche Lepra- und Tuberkulosehilfe began supporting anti-leprosy activities in the Republic of Yemen in 1989, more people were attracted to work for people with leprosy in this country. DAHW has helped enhance the knowledge and skills of leprosy field workers. It has provided drugs, equipment, vehicles, local and international training and social and economic rehabilitation of people affected by leprosy.
