IDEA Activity Report 2008

The International Association for Integration, Dignity and Economic Advancement, IDEA, has published its report of activities for 2008. As the only leprosy focussed non-governmental organisation with Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations, coverage is given to the ways in which it is broadening the base to discuss leprosy as a human rights issue.
This Report also highlights how they are promoting dignity, for example by using photographs that are empowering, and are making use of history to effect social change. IDEA branches around the world document twelve months’ of activities too.
