LEPRA Health in Action Recruits New Programme Officer

LEPRA Health in Action recently appointed Catherine Cherry as a Programme Officer.
With a BSc in Natural Sciences and Biology Catherine started her career in medical diagnostics and pathology research, totalling eight years’ experience. Later she moved to a career in international development by doing post graduate studies in global development management, and working in health programmes with a medical non-governmental organisation in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Having moved away from a career in research Catherine maintains an interest in biomedical sciences. She is now using this and her scientific background to provide programmes support to LEPRA’s Blue Peter Public Health and Research Centre in Hyderabad, India, as well as supporting LEPRA Bangladesh.
