On-Line and Off-Line Global Disability Rights Library Launched

The Global Disability Rights Library has been added to the eGranary, which is an off-line information store, established in 2001, that provides instant access to millions of Internet resources to institutions that do not have Internet access.
The WiderNet Project, a service programme of the School of Library and Information Science at the University of Iowa, has just released the first prototype of this library, with over 500,000 resources on disability rights. It is available in both an on-line and an off-line version, the off-line version being delivered on a computer hardware drive with an interface that emulates the appearance and function of the World Wide Web.
