The Report of International Workshop on Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) and Leprosy was held in Bangkok, 21^st – 22^nd February 2009, immediately after the 1^st Asia Pacific Community-Based Rehabilitation Congress, has been finalised.

Participants shared experiences of how they are managing to integrate community-based rehabilitation of people with disabilities due to leprosy into general CBR programmes as well as of rehabilitation services and centres specifically for people with disabilities due to leprosy. These experiences could be usefully shared with other ILEP Members.

It was concluded that there is a limited amount of information available about the significance and impact of the CBR-leprosy interface. Further, it was indicated that the ILEP Technical Commission could possibly play a role in sharing scientific reviews of community-based rehabilitation in leprosy.
