TDR Wins 2011 Gates Award for Global Health

On 17th May 2011 the Global Health Council announced the United Nation’s leading programme for research and scientific collaboration, which helps co-ordinate, support and promote global efforts to combat infectious diseases of the poor and disadvantaged, as the winner of the 2011 Gates Award for Global Health.
This, the world’s largest prize for public health, will be presented on 16th June 2011 during the Global Health Council’s 38th Annual International Conference on Global Health.
