Incentives To Prevent Disability Among Persons with Leprosy in India

The Government of India has announced a scheme in which both people affected by leprosy and the institutions carrying out reconstructive surgery will be given a specified amount to encourage surgeries and to ensure that patients can comply with all follow-up visits.
