Posted on 3 December 2008 by
Observance of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3rd December offers an opportunity to foster changes in attitudes towards people with disabilities and eliminate barriers to their participation in life, as fully as they choose. The General Secretary of ILEP has issued a Statement to mark this Day celebrated since 1992. Leprosy is a leading cause of permanent physical disability.
