Facilities
Accommodation is available at the ALERT hostel in single study rooms. As well as, self-study facilities, such as CD-ROMs, video, slide programmes and library. Training takes place in the 240-bed teaching hospital and the ALERT field programme.
Fees
The basic training fees are 460 US dollars per week. This covers tuition, full board and lodging, laundry facilities, airport service and 25 US dollars pocket money per week. Three-day field trips are an additional 75 US dollars for transportation, facilitation and living expenses. Special rates are available for long term in-service trainees. Please note that ALERT does not provide any sponsorship.

To attend these courses from outside the country, you need a visa for Ethiopia. For trainees unable to obtain an entry visa in their home country, a visa can be arranged by ALERT if the required information is sent to them in time. Facilities
Students stay at the hostel of the National Tuberculosis and Leprosy Training Centre. Rooms are shared with one other student.
Fees
Training fees are fixed for each course and cover tuition, full board, laundry, lodging, recreation facilities, pocket money and transport. Sponsorship and a pass in the selection internew are conditions of admission.

Facilities
Air-conditioned classrooms with audio visual aids, multi-media projector, computers and library. There is a 150-bedded hospital with a annual number of 50,000 out patients (12,000 - 15,000 patients with leprosy).
In-service training
Laboratory with over 30,000 tests and 5,000 skin smears
Physiotherapy with over 10,000 assessments
Ophthalmology, reconstructive surgery (250 - 300)
Foot Care (800)
Surgery, MCR & specialised footwear/prosthesis, with a production of 1,500 each year.
Clinical Leprosy - 2,500 new patients each year.
In-service training is available as shown on the above calendar and on request in advance. This is open to anyone, and will be given on a first come first served basis. (maximum of 2 people per month, per subject).

Facilities
Accommodation and full board is available in the training centre guesthouse, which has single and double study rooms. There is a wide opportunity to practice manual skills in a 70-bed hospital setting.
